The New iPod Shuffle

This new iPod Shuffle is much smaller than those previous iPods but huge. Huge because it has new features that the previous released never had. It has VoiceOver that with just a press of a button, it can tell you if you want to know the artist or the title of the music you’re listening to. It announces the names of your playlist so it’s easy to switch between them and find the one you want without looking. And when your battery needs charging, VoiceOver tells you that, too. It speaks 14 different languages.

It is 1.8″ x 0.3″ thin to be exact. Not for dramatically smaller’s sake, it is also easier to use, with the controls located where you can access them quickly.

In contrast to its size, it has 4GB of storage that can store up to 1000 songs. Thus, this new iPod Shuffle is truly small but HUGE…

Project Exhibit 2009

At last, our project exhibit was done. This was happened last February 18-20. We were surprised when Sir Jerome Auza brought some friends from Provincial Government to see our IP PBX project because we were just expecting the CVSCAFT-TCC students and faculties to watch our projects. Maybe those officials are interested on our project. So we explained them on what is IP PBX and what is it for. Luckily, the exhibit was done without any major problems except for some minor bugs in our program.

By now, we are preparing for the coming project defense. We will be making some improvements and bug fixing in our program. We will search for the right voice codecs for our outgoing calls because voice signals were distorted. We are confident that this will be solved because we have Mr. Google on our side. -lol-
